25th–26th September 2009 – The massive DotA battle quenches its wavy streams into a flagrant downpour as the ninth SGNDT landmark for the year 2009 paves a torrential presence into neighboring Kedah. Overseeing the battlefield as venue sponsors were the ever so omnipotent EC Internet Café, located right within Taman Tuanku Haminah across Sungai Petani at Kedah. With only a few remaining states left to challenge for glory, DotArians could vehemently sense their chances for qualification slowly perish as the Grand Finals looms nearer to succession. This rise in pressure has inevitably caused a momentous outburst from fledging teams wishing to grasp a taste of stardom at the Grand Finale this coming November – where an outrageous cash booty of over RM 135, 000 awaits all winning contenders, splitting the spoils of battle into RM 42, 000 for reigning champions, RM 20, 000 for 1st Runner-Up, RM 13, 000 for 2nd Runner-Up, and RM 8, 000 for 3rd Runner-Up. As the pressure escalates a cut deeper, we make way for yet another pulsating occasion as we seek far and wide for the next champion to showcase themselves in this week’s battle royale at the Kedah outskirts.
