18th–19th July 2009, History sets itself in motion once more as an assemblage of victors emerged from the latest consecutive fray bearing the SMM Grand National DotA Tournament tutelage right across the Sabah continent – displaying a high-flying responsive conduct from DotArians nationwide. The PowerNet Cyber Café was the destined spot to uphold the various teams that ventured off the Malaysian coast and into one of Sabah’s local hotspots at Plaza Grand Millennium, only a walking distance from Jalan Penampang Bypass. It was a fun and joyous, yet challenging experience as DotArians encountered another tidal wave of professional gamers bend with one task in mind – to conquer and etch their name as the SGNDT 09’: Sabah Champions! With the qualifying prize for 1st place: RM 2000, 2nd place: RM 1000, 3rd place: RM 600, and 4th place: RM 300, along with instant qualification to the SMM Grand Finals where a luxurious cash purse of over RM 90, 000 awaits all winning contenders – it’s of sure-fire motive that this could only mean more fame and glory to come!
