DETAIL

The One Asia Cup sprints to the final as a new champion is crowned!

14th-15th December 2013, CHINATOWN, SINGAPORE – The One Asia Cup enters the fray of combat for a third year running as Southeast Asia’s brightest talents lock and load at the Alienware Arena for the weekend. Featuring the immensely popular first-person shooter – Counter-Strike Online, the One Asia Cup invites a total of 9 teams into the thick of the action, hailing all the way from Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore respectively. With a nifty total prize pool of USD 8,000.00 within vantage point, teams stoically deployed their vast tactical skillsets, subterfuge, and stratagems onto the battlefield as their nerves of steel kicked into full throttle. Team CARRY ME PLEASE from Singapore stormed the front-lines, carrying the proud baton as home favourites towards the finishing line by defeating local compatriots Team LITELAB in the finals to ultimately clinch the One Asia Cup and USD 5,000.00, while the bronze medallist went to Team DROPZONE186 from Indonesia.

Back for more gunning action after the Counter-Strike Online World Championship in Shanghai, Team KNOCKED THE FRAG OUT made their way into Chinatown to represent Malaysia in this First-Person Shooter favourite.

Fellow protégés, Team KNOCKED THE FRAG OUT (2) followed suit to challenge for the One Asia Cup with much fervent bravado – showcasing their impressive mark in the Alienware Arena at Singapore.

Professional eSports Commentator – Philibert Santhanaraj amplifies the tempo with a tantalizing brand of shout-casting as the euphoric scene implodes into the beat of gun-trotting action.

Players and fans rally to support their national compatriots as the battle for Counter-Terrorist and Terrorist is forged, queried, and besieged within the blink of an eye.
