DETAIL

A NEW CHAMPION IS CROWNED – as the  Malaysia DotA Grand Finals & Counter-Strike Online World Championship: Malaysia Finals concludes with flair!

19th-20th October 2013, KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – The epic skirmish for a new DotA Champion unfolds as warriors assemble under a single banner at the SMM Malaysia DotA Grand Finals held in the florescent gateways of the ancients at the Orange Esports Stadium for the weekend. Lit to fiery flair, these battle-hardened veterans have traversed far and wide to partake in glorious combat as they proudly represent their home state in heroic conquest – spanning magnificently across 17 regional-qualifiers and 13 states nationwide. Forming part and parcel of the best teams around the country – these DotArians have relished the grand opportunity to attest their skills towards a whole new level by stalwartly emerging top of the table at the SMM Malaysia DotA Grand Finals. With a nifty cash pool of over RM 18K up for grabs, the stakes are high as neighbouring compatriots loggerhead in grand battle – conjuring with all their might the strength of titans to mount an unstoppable challenge for state, conquest, and bounty. On the south-east corner of the Orange Esports Stadium, bullets spray and grenades ricochet across the auburn battle-arena as the Counter-Strike Online World Championship: Malaysia Finals loads into full throttle. With a bevy of talented marksman and sharpshooters storming the front in full assault, the survival for acute positioning and subterfuge were key in the midst of tactical warfare. Fearless gun-trotting troopers formed the cohesive formation of combat as the Counter-Terrorist and Terrorist played host to a number of pivotal battle maps – strategically turning the tides of subjugation within the fling of each coin. With tight and intense team-wipes set in motion, triumphant combatants were ushered closer towards the finishing line – as the last man standing clinches the all-expenses paid trip to proudly represent Malaysia in Shanghai, China for the finals. As the dust and debris settles in a finale filled to the brim with euphoric proportions, SMM heartily wishes all participants and winners a massive thank you and heartiest congratulations for an outstanding achievement!
